The right choice
for your Comfort

Our water heaters are produced in various capacities and sizes in order to meet the most common needs.

How is the needs of each home determined?
It’s easy. Just consider that a shower generally consumes 25 liters of water, a sink about 13 liters, a bathtub 80 liters. It is therefore sufficient to multiply by the number of users and we have found the need.

Where to mount the water heater
Even if it is perfectly insulated, a storage water heater naturally loses heat over time. A loss proportional to the difference between the temperature of the stored water and the ambient temperature. It is therefore recommended to place the water heater in heated rooms, in order to limit heat loss, and in the vicinity of the places where the water is used to limit losses in the ducts. It is also necessary to comply with European standards for the installation of electrical appliances in the bathroom.

Eco Line

The ECO water heater with increased insulation minimizes heat losses to improve energy yield. This addition, together with the smaller diameter of the internal boiler, and the special profile of the bottoms, make the water heater more performing:

  • Best performance
  • Energy saving
  • Better resistance to pressure and therefore to possible breakages
  • Less heat loss

BANDINI uses polyurethane foam as a coating for the ECO line with a density of 40kg / cm2, with an insulating thickness of 3cm.

The ECO Line allows, compared to a standard product, to lower energy consumption, towards a more sustainable future with a lower environmental impact.

Smart Line

Heat dispersion in electric storage water heaters is common, which is why installing a thermostat with Smart functions allows you to produce hot water only when necessary, optimizing the management of heating cycles.

How does it work?
First, it records the consumption of domestic hot water in a week. Then the algorithm calculates the consumption profile of domestic hot water for the following week.
During the week the water is heated according to the recorded consumption profile.
Finally, the consumption profile is constantly updated in real time, so as to follow the change in consumer habits.
All the products of the Smart range have reinforced thermal insulation (double ECO thermal coat).

The Smart thermostat also offers the option of the “Anti legionella cycle
Whichever mode is selected, the SMART thermostat is programmed for permanent monitoring of the water temperature in case of detection of risk conditions that can cause the development of the bacterium and therefore generate an automatic heating cycle to bring the water temperature to 65 ° C, eliminating the causes of risk of proliferation and development of the bacterium

THE SECRETS OF HOT WATER

The safety of the water heater operation is ensured by:

The bipolar thermostat

The thermostat has a functional part and a safety part. When the water temperature drops, the thermostat reactivates the electrical resistance which begins to heat up again. Should faults occur for which the resistance continues to heat, the safety part intervenes by preventing and ensuring that the water does not reach too high and dangerous temperatures.

the safety valve

The safety valve has an important function for the safety of the electric water heater. It prevents the water heater from being emptied if the supply of water from the aqueduct ceases and prevents the pressure inside the water heater from exceeding the nominal design pressure (6-8 bar).

Bandini follows these three paths to obtain an optimal profile of the funds and the quality of the water heater

Porcelain enamel (anti corrosion)
The common ferrous materials, with which the boilers of water heaters are built, are characterized by being attacked by water rich in oxygen. This process is the so-called corrosion
The forms in which corrosion develops and its propagation speed are influenced by the hardness of the water, its pH, the frequency of replacement and the temperature.
The most effective method of protecting the boiler from the onset of corrosive phenomena is enamelling. It consists of applying a thin layer of porcelain enamel inside the boiler
Firing the enamel in an oven at 800 ° C produces an inseparable bond and the vitrification of the steel prevents any formation of rust.
Powder enamelling as the operating mode chosen by Bandini has the following advantages:
homogeneity of the thickness of the glaze which means no risk of detachment of the glaze due to the presence of high thicknesses
strong automation that allows to guarantee constant control of product quality
The magnesium anode
The surface of a tank is protected from corrosion with enamelling. To achieve 100% protection, a further precaution is adopted. That is the magnesium anode. Because? Because magnesium is a less noble metal than iron from a chemical point of view, so in the operation of the water heater particles of magnesium will detach from the anode and dissolve in the water going to cover any uncovered points in the boiler.
The special profile of the funds

The water heater is a device that works under pressure: when it is filled the internal pressure is equal to that of the supply (about 4 – 6 bar). When it draws in water, the pressure drops to 0.5 – 1 bar. These variations affect the bottom of the boiler, so the amplitude of the oscillations must be minimal to avoid detachment of the enamel as well as any corrosive phenomena.

The solutions are:

  • use of adequate sheet thicknesses in the construction of the boiler
  • design of the boiler in three pieces so that the thickness of the bottoms is constant and homogeneous
  • fund profile optimization
